China to Help Kurdish Women

China's Consul to Erbil reiterated her support for women in Kurdistan Region.

A Chinese delegation headed by Tang Bang Lee, China's Consul to Erbil, visited High Council of Women Affairs and appreciated the roles and efforts of the council in promoting women issues in Kurdistan Region. The delegation also indicated that women’s conditions in Kurdistan Region are much better compared to other parts of the country.

The delegation also reiterated China's support for Kurdish women aimed at promoting women issues in the region. They further offered help with training courses and work training, along with funding on small business projects.

From her side, Pakhsahn Zangana, General Secretary of High Council of Women Affairs, appreciated the delegation's initiatives for promoting women issues. She said China is a country with a rich culture and any help from them is appreciated.
